Hello again! ;___; Unfortunately, with the last journal we couldn't make it to the footer and therefore we didn't really get much exposure so I'm going to try again in hopes of increasing the exposure to get more people to help Erin (aka Darkest-of-Days).

I don't normally ask for things like this but I need you to help me support a friend

Darkest-of-Days and her husband are going through serious medical difficulties but they don't have enough to cover their medical expenses...

"My husband Sam and I have unfortunately accrued almost $4,000 in medical bills thanks to a lot of run-around with testing on my digestive system (which ended up not even telling us what's wrong with it) and my husband having a MRSA infection removed from his leg. Our insurance company has been anything but transparent with us on what they would cover and has left us with the lion's share of the money owed to the hospital and its auxiliary services. We were approved for all of our treatments, but the insurance failed to cover more than a small portion of most of the procedures. I was also pressured into some of these tests by my doctor. I realize that he was trying to play it safe, but with limited medical insurance I feel as though we could have been warned better about the financial hardship this would cause. Because of my frequent visits, we also owe money to the doctor's office as well, though not nearly as much."

As of now they are just trying to raise the first $1000 through a YouCaring  fund-raiser  www.youcaring.com/medical-fund… that you can donate to! If you'd rather donate to her directly you can do so through her paypal account.

I want to help her get out of this rough stage and hopefully help her afford the tests she needs to find out what her illness is as well as a treatment so I've put an adoptable up  for sale and the raised funds will go entirely to her.
