In recent years the question regarding Daily Deviations and Descriptions has been brought up many times. Should DDs include a little description about why they were chosen? Should they be blank so as to let people find out their own reasons for enjoying the featured pieces...? Today we will take a look at the different perspectives on this subject! From community members to community volunteers, let's hear what they have to say!

Daily Deviations: To include or not to include descriptions :iconkarinwhatplz:
Descriptions or write-ups often include the reasons why said Daily Deviation was chosen, highlighting details that might go unnoticed or expressing the suggester and/or the CVs feelings towards the piece in question. Including a descripion or not is up to each individual CV. Ones prefer writing something for it, others don't. In the end it's just a matter of preference!

At the bottom, you can see the option Delete Chatroom option.
Please note that deletion is permanent and once a chatroom has been deleted the name can not be used again.

Getting the Most out of dA: CommentingUsually, when you read something involving 'Commenting', you think of deviations and the commenting platform that allows other members of the community to voice their thoughts and opinions on the art shown. However, what is pretty evident, and something that most of us may forget, is that deviantART runs on the ability to give and get comments, be it on pieces of artwork, our profile pages, +forums, and everywhere else in between.
In a sense, without the ability to give and get comments, deviantART wouldn't be much of a website, much less #1 of online art communities around. Comments are not solely the cause of what makes deviantART what it is, but it has a huge impact on a lot of things. By giving and getting comments, not only do we interact with other members to really make this a community, we also have the ability to get our voices heard.

For this week I collected a small group of experts on the deviantART community and positive contribution. Together we will present you with articles and happenings, to inspire you and give you an overview of how you can contribute to the deviantART community.
From Monday to Saturday, each day will focus on a different topic. Topics will be introduced in an informative article. Then we'll go into it more in depth with you through interviews with gurus on the subject or through events where you get to experience the fun of contributing.
Then on Sunday we'll recap the entire week not only in a summary of articles but also in a chat event!

DD Themed Week: Manga Chapters!

Hello everyone!!

Forgive me for being late with all my duties, I couldn't be more busy with uni I hope it stops being so stressful soon! I'm exhausted!

But... Let's not waste our time on unimportant things!! We have a wonderful event happening this week! It's our DD themed week for March and it's dedicated to Manga Chapters & Pages!

Later on this week I'll be posting my ideas for a revamp of the Manga & Anime gallery regarding Manga as sequential art and I'll ask for your input! Stay tuned!!

Without further ado, here are the Daily Deviations given so far this week!

Day 4th

The suggester said: "MLTY:: Page 1 by *saiyukiluver is definitely an upcoming manga everyone should look forward to! I can't help but want to know the story behind the gorgeous art and the interesting characters after just 5 pages." I wholeheartedly agree! This story is bound to bewitch you!
