How did you find deviantART?

I found about it first through a friend. She was insistent that sharing my art with others and leaving my shyness behind would be a good experience! I have always been very shy about showing my art to strangers so I wasn't very convinced at first. However, it was not long before I decided to join the community.

What made you stay?

The people I have met through the years, the experience I have gained here, the community as a whole, my watchers... deviantART is quite an addicting place.

What do you like most about deviantART?

Hmm, I guess it would be how incredibly easy is to share your works with the rest of the community. Taking place in contests, joining groups and meeting new people through your art.

What are your main sources of inspiration?

Well, anything around me can become a source of inspiration! It's completely random, I could be watching tv, chatting with friends, about to fall asleep or during lunch when images of a new picture/comic comes to my head and in that very moment I have to take a pen and start drawing or I'll forget eventually.

Have you ever attended an art school or are you self-taught?

I'm self-taught. I tried to get into an art school once but it didn't work for me. I had problems with my teacher...

What made you start drawing by yourself?

Drawing has always been a hobby for me since I was a child; it has become a natural thing to do, a part of myself. Before I ventured into the world of anime and manga, my drawings focused on animals and fantasy creatures of my own creation, I have always had a very active imagination...

What tips would you give to future self-taught deviants?

Ahh, giving tips is not my thing at all... ^^;

The thing with giving advice to self-taught deviants is that I'm aware that people have different ways of learning and I wouldn't know what would work for that person. What may work for me, would not work for others and so on. For example, normally people will point you to a tutorial to learn a new technique or how to do a specific effect, etc but I for one cannot follow any instructions because I end up confusing myself more! I know it sounds silly but it is the truth...

What I always tell others is to experiment by yourself, don't be afraid to try new things because experience is the best teacher you can ever have. Also, remember to love what you do; if you tell yourself what you make is crap, ugly, nothing special then other people will perceive it like that as well. Do you really want that? Take into consideration that every piece you make is a part of your heart, when you call your works ugly, you're also depicting yourself, confidence in getting better and learning to love your work gives you the right push to learn things faster and eventually surpass your limits.

If you could spend a day within the universe of a fandom, what fandom would you choose to live a day in? Why?

Hmm, this is hard. So many choices but I guess I'd choose Pokemon because I would like to be pokemon trainer for a day~ I'm sure it would be fun. Moreover, that's like... The only universe I could think of that I would be okay with if it was real. Any other "universes" are too dangerous and crazy to live in, even for a day… If powers were included then I would not mind being a shinigami on Bleach's world or a Mugiwara pirate in One Piece but otherwise no thanks! :lmao:

We all know you're a big fan of Ulquiorra x Orihime, what is it about them that makes you draw them all the time and love them so much?

I can't really tell. I just love their dynamic, I feel like when they're together, both of the characters shine at their best. For example, I love the fact that Ulquiorra was considered a nihilist before meeting her, he didn't believe in anything that didn't catch his eyes. But it only took Orihime's words about the Heart and what it meant to have bonds to stir something inside and change him. Orihime stood brave before him, even though she had many reasons to hate him, fear him but she didn't flinch, she wasn't afraid of him.

For me, this pairing represents hope, it can be easily taken as a tragic pairing but, IMO, what is tragic about a story of redemption? By the end, Ulquiorra (a demon, a villain) found in Orihime (a human) what he thought he had lost and could not grasp anymore: his own heart. I think that alone is amazing, I love them so much.

I simply cannot stop drawing what it would have been if they were together, so many scenarios, so many emotions unexplored, and an endless string of possibilities. They shared a strong connection one way or another and I just love to exploit that in my creations ;)

Any last words you want to say to our readers and/or your fans?

I hope that this didn't bring down any good ideas you had about me, hahaha. Seriously, though, I'm extremely grateful to all of you!! Your support, feedback and lovely comments have helped me to grow as an artist and as a person. Thank you, I hope you will keep me company for many years to come and support me all the way there. See you!

Thank you so much Rusky-Boz, Congratulations!!
