Happy new year + Fan Art GM

Happy New year everyone!!

Here in Spain we're less than 3h away from 2010 ! I hope you guys have an amazing new year!

Before anything, I want to thank you all for your well wishes and caring, my dad is still down about my grandma's death but we're doing fine and we'll move on <3 Don't worry my dears

2009 was a year full of exciting and fun things! It started quite bad, especially with uni issues like me failing quite a lot of exams but hopefully I managed to get myself to study and passed 5 out of my 8 subjects, but that wasn't enough to get a schoolarship... Anyway! That summer I met a lot of wonderful people in an English summer course I made <33 I miss them lots! And the closer it gets to the end of the year, the better it is! I got myself to study a lot for my exams even though it meant to be delayed with commissions, and I got good marks for 2 important exams On deviantART I was honored seniority on the last round of 2009 that was announced on December 23rd, and yesterday December 30th I became a Gallery Moderator for Fan Art alongside Juli (aunjuli) .

2009 vs 2010 resolutions

2009!

1.- Pass all my subjects - FAILED xD
2.- Go to see Blossie and Zoku! and have our sleepovah! - FAILED
3.- Get frontpage with a pic of mine - FAILED
4.- Improve my artskills more. Mind you, I think I did ;D
5.- Finish KH 1 & 2 at least. I want to meet Roxas and Axel already! - EPIC FAIL xD I'm not a good fan
6.- Health for my parents, they're not feeling well these days ;____; - Well they are doing a bit better but this will never be enough fulfilled to be crossed.
7.- Learn to concentrate better. ;D
8.- Learn japanese. - LOL
9.- Finish my manga. - Even more LOL
10.- Keep all my friends by my side ;____; -

2010

1.- Make sure I do a good job as a GM
2.- PASS all my subjects xD this year will be my year.
3.- Finish the manga commission for Ambers79
4.- Get my dad out of his depression
5.- Keep the love in my life <3
6.- Learn to cook things, cool things xD
7.- Meet any of my closest dA friends irl <3

Fan Art Gallery Moderator

I must admit I'm a slowpoke (pun?) when it comes to making journals about events .
So, the other day moonbeam13 sent me a note asking if I was interested in being a Fan Art GM <3 I obviously said yes <33 Go thank aunjuli for being so lovely as to want me in the team <3 When I joined deviantART and found out what GMs were I knew I wanted to be one someday and therefore applied for a position in the Fan Art category ;D although I was a n00b then and didn't know there wasn't a spot open . Then I met the wonderful Juli and completely loved her <3 She's such an amazing friend! She inspired me to be a better person, to keep positive and to be grateful for everything I take for granted in life It was her loving personality that made me want to be a Fan Art GM even more, but not THE GM but her partner. It became a dream that I never thought would come true so I aimed to become an anime/manga GM because I knew if I wanted Fan Art, that' imply Juli would have to hung up her hat, and I definitely didn't want her to do so But my dream of being her partner never disappeared, and when she told me about this the other day I almost cried. My dream is now a reality, and I couldn't be more happy <333 Thank you so much, Juli. I love you hun

I'm really excited about this new and wonderful experience, I'll do my best to take care of the Fan Art Gallery and give it lots of love <3

Thank you to Atramina for being an unconditional supporter, for lifting me up when I was down, for her cheerful and sweet personality that keeps me loving her more each day, for caring about me, Thank you! Thanks to the wonderful Danie (moonbeam13) for letting me join the CR team <333 you've made my year! To the lovely Fiona (fourteenthstar) for granting me the honour of being a senior member !
I love all of you but I can't thank you all separately but rest assured I do appreciate each of you's love, friendship, support and caring towards me <3 I would be nothing without you so to everyone

DD suggestion Guidelines

If you wish to send me your suggestions, feel free to do so ;D  but try to bear these guidelines in mind when doing so:

Send your suggestions to me rydi1689 in a note with 1 to 5 suggestions max! Also, please add thumbs instead of links.

Add a brief description of why you think this piece deserves a DD ;D It's not compulsory but very much appreciated!

Please try and suggest artwork to me that you would share with 7 million people. I know it sounds obvious... but. Well, think about it. _{((c) aunjuli)}

Don't suggest pieces from artists who have received a DD in the past 3 months

I can only feature Fan Art suggestions, so make sure it belongs in Fan Art

I prefer featuring unknown deviants and pieces with little exposure that could use some more love! But this doesn't mean I'm not open for pieces with a fair amount of faves already ;D

** I will try to reply to every note I receive! I can't pick every suggestion you make but I read and consider them all <3 So please, even if your first suggestion isn't picked keep suggesting!
